When a convection oven is used to cook a turkey, it will take a shorter time to cook compared
to normal ovens. The cooking temperature to roast a turkey is 300°F (150°C) and it will take about 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours
for a 14-18 lbs unstuffed turkey. For a stuffed turkey, the cooking time is from 2 1/2 - 3 hours.
It is important to check the internal temperature of the turkey by using a meat thermometer
to ensure that the internal temperature receahes 180°F (82°C) in the thigh of a stuffed
turkey and 170°F (77°C) for an unstuffed turkey.

The preferred location is to place the turkey is on the lowest rack. Ensure that the turkey is at the center
of the oven. Avoid crowding turkeys in the oven. Always leave enough space between the turkey and the oven walls.
Crowding inhibits circulation and slow down the cooking.
